Hello, I’m Cheryl Phillips. I am an educator, data & investigative journalist at Stanford University.

I founded and run Big Local News, a data-sharing collaborative and platform in support of vital local journalism. I also am the

faculty director of the Stanford Computational Policy Lab in Management Science & Engineering and I am a founding member of the Community law Enforcement Accountability Network, a cross-domain effort to collect, process and share police misconduct and use of force records.
